I need to complete the race car! Then I will do as many track days as I can (depending on budget and spare time).

Another season of Porsche Club Qld track days. Should run in a higher class this year, once the supercharger is in. Going to do Bathurst at easter - fantastic track.

Will start my season at Sebring in mid-January at Winterfest! I will likely put in 20+ track days that will include a mix of racing and instructing. Even though I did the LS swap mid-summer, I still managed 26 days in 2011

I'll be putting this pristeen 61,000 mile car up for sale in the summer for $12K including all my spares and 6 wheels.

It will get new half shafts/CVs this winter. Plan to do 6-7 DE events at Gingerman, Blackhawk, & Autobahn. Maybe get to Road America, Grattan and/or Putnam Park.
Might try Pagid Blacks or their new Yellows this year instead of Oranges.

Duke and I are on the same schedule.

I'm blessed to have so many tracks around me with schedules that allow me to pay for as little as 1/2 days for testing and tuning. I will try my hardest to get to know the car the first 3-4 months. Then I will go after some mean track times and some sanctioned time trial events. I REALLY looks forward to that. I'm so excited to actually feel like that might actually happen next year.

Does sell my 996 and buy another 951 count? Then I may get some DE time in...

Eric, where can I get info on the Bathurst event in Easter? I see PCQLD hasn't published any event details for 2012 yet. Is it true they have a lap time restriction for that event?

I plan on doing pretty much the entire NASA Rocky Mtn time trials season, plus a few DE's with PCA.

I just finished putting the LS6 pcv system in my car this past Saturday. I sent my throttle body out to be ported, need to install it when it comes back. Then an oil change, flush the brake fluid, replace the front brake rotors, get the car corner balanced/aligned, then put a resonator in the exhaust to quiet it down some.

Winter Endurance racing in Florida with the new E36 M3. Plus some track time to learn the car while getting some pro coaching.

NASA Great Lakes/Midewst

Endurance series - M3
ST2 - 951CTSV

Plus the usual open track days to set up and develop the car.

I avoid the DE's, poor track time and the whole grouping, instructor thing.

You're not a chance at that particular Bathurst event Steve. Lowest time you can run is 2:40. You'd be well under that.

February - Willow Springs Raceway, CA - Time Trial (practice sessions in race group)
March - Spring Mountain Raceway, NV - Racers Clinic #2
April - Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, CA - Cup Race
May - Willow Springs Raceway, CA - Cup Race
June - Autoclub Speedway, CA - Cup Race
August - Laguna Seca, CA - Cup Race
September - Autoclub Speedway, CA - Cup Race
October - Infineon Raceway, CA - Cup Race
December - Willow Springs Raceway, CA - Cup Race

Busy year coming up. Looking forward to Infineon Raceway but can't wait for Laguna Seca!
How was the racer's clinic, Scott? I missed it sadly, but ran the 24 Hours of Lemons at Buttonwillow the same weekend which was pretty fun.

I will be joining you on as much of the POC schedule as possible. I think I will finally put some upgraded springs and bushings on the 951 and run JP class, but I am also building a 944 Spec car which I will race in POC (if there are any 944 Spec guys left!) and in NASA.

POC is pretty thin on 944s/951s in general these days, anybody here that's in SoCal needs to come out and play next year!

Do something to improve intercooler performance. Run a couple of PCA Club Races.

I don't understand this, a track day that you have to go slow
