Don't know, I wasn't there. Just found these pics yesterday. Didn't recall seeing anyone here post about it.

I thought it was kind of cool that whoever took those pics (linked in the first post) thought the 951 was cool enough to take pictures of and include in their post on speedhunters.com

Background of why it was there: Hawk was bought by Carlisle Companies within the last year or so, and the head of Carlisle (long time PCA member) owns that car. So it is getting used as part of the new Hawk marketing/advertizing efforts. The wheels on the car are a new prototype wheel that I think may be marketed and sold under the "Hawk" namebrand.

As shown above - car was also at Rennsport Reunion prior to the SEMA display. Nathan, did you make the trip out to Laguna?

 

More pics. Yes, my wife and I went out as part of our 15th anniversary celebration which tells you a bit about my wife .
Talked to Dave after the race for a bit. We love Monterey/Carmel, spent about 1/3rd of the time at the track and the rest hiking/at the beach and eating good food.

This car does look fantastic.
