Yeah, I actually tried to get some of that stuff, but nobody carries it around here.
What national autoparts chain might have it?

It's their race oils that have the 2000+ppm, which I use 2 bottles of to mix in at oil change. Heavy valve springs and 7,000 RPM makes you not want to take any chances.

My testing was done by an oil manufacturer whose products I will begin importing in a few weeks.. Samples were all new, out of the bottle. I will take that over a single post from an internet forum from one guy, that doesn't say anything other than Blackstone is telling him he can extend his drain intervals. Still, one of the challenges we face is that oil preference is like religion - faith and belief are often more powerful than data.
Again, the Amsoil Blackstone lab tests for the ZRod are: 30 and 50 weight: Zinc 1440 PPM
Phos 1320 PPM
The annoying thing about oil is that it's like politics, people often argue over numbers that aren't accurate. All of this oil is going to work fine. You can't make a blanket statement saying that anything over 1300PPM zinc is detrimental. According to what test scale? According to who's tests? Who's tests are we using to say the 1300PPM is detrimental? Who's tests are we using to test the oil? An independent oil company? Come on.
