And as far as the new chip...a little road rash was well worth it. Hell, I bought it to drive it and at times drive it hard!!!

Know that area well, actually going down near there hunting in a couple of weeks. Not so spirited driving in he Chevy crew cab though. Next time pay attention when in the Koffee Kup. One of pals hunts outside town and tells me on Sat. and Sun. mornings Jewel and hubby ride their bikes in for breakfast. Maybe not now though since had a baby lately. Never know what you'll see in rural Texas.
Google Texas Monthly about a couple of years ago "Best Rural Cafes in Texas" issue. A lot of neat drives could be tied together hitting a few of those. Buzz me up next time you and Matt headed out. Working on the 951 again (really!) but see if I can keep up in the Cs for now.

And yes the Koffee Kup is awesome...been there over the years when heading to San Antonio or Kerrville via the "bluebonnet route!"

Compared to my '07 Avalanche that averages 17 MPG with 87 octane gas, or about 13.5-14 MPG on E85 for the same commute.

I burned right at 13 gallons of E85 in 200 miles which works out to about 15 MPG. For comparison purposes, I've been averaging around 17 MPG on my daily 92-mile round trip commute to work which is mostly highway, but typically has 5-8 miles below 40 MPH somewhere during the trip.
