Default My Dyno Sheet

Hey guys. I wanted to share my dyno results for my car that was tuned today. This was done on a dynapack dyno which is usually about 8% lower than a dynojet.

I'll get it on the dynojet soon, so I can have a comparison against other dynojet runs for other 944 Turbos.

This run was at 14.5 psi on 93 octane fuel.

Those are very good numbers for 15 psi. I would just run it at that PSI for reliability.

Some odd things going on.

Hp/tq crossing before 5250
The afrs are lean
Large tq dropoff.

I don't know the build, but it is strange regardless.

I agree about it running lean and I'm going to call my mechanic tomorrow about it. The TQ drop off is odd as well.

I have another dyno sheet that is from a later run at only 14 psi where my mechanic added more fuel and the highest A/F ratio is 12.47. I'm going to put it on a dynojet and see if the chart is the same. I'm concerned about the TQ drop off being so drastic.

Nice power Chris. You need that M Tune sooner rather than later IMO.

[QUOTE=blown 944;9015448]Some odd things going on.

Hp/tq crossing before 5250

That's because the torque on the left doesn't match up with the hp numbers on the right.

Pretty common recently when the dyno operators try to make both HP and TQ curves maximize on the graph... notice the two Y-axes don't use the same scale. The 5250 crossover isn't going to show on the graph.

What I don't understand is that the max HP number in the table in the right says 229.5 but the graph says +/- 412?

229.5 is where it started plotting the HP numbers, it's just backwards, hp numbers start on right but green line is plotted left to right. Thats how I'm seeing it

The chart is jacked up, the torque is 345 at 6,200 rpm. It's the way the plotted the data that makes it look like a huge drop off.

Ask them to run a new graph using a single Y axis with MIN set at 200 and MAX set at 450. The chart will look fine...

Agreed - the data looks good, just the plot is funny.
That said, the AFRs are scary!

I am really surprised that the motor didn't have massive knock with the AFR at 14.17 at 5.8K RPM at 14 lbs of boost . Looks like the fuel pump isn't up to the job or the fuel map needs a lot of work.
