Wow that did turn out nice...

FWIW, I dont believe Curtis is making the non reset counters any longer, rather making all of them with teh reset enabled from Curtis (first two listed on the digikey link)..

Makes connecting the switch the way shown that much easier as you just connect pin 1 to pin 4 (IIRC) via a momentary switch and it will reset!

Nice! I'm planning something similar, only I'll be dumping the radio and either hide some jacks for iPod/usb/phone/mini-plug or putting them right on the faceplate, then hooking that directly to an amp. This should give me extra room for more gauges/controllers while still retaining music functionality for long road trips.

Sometimes I love my OCD.

This looks awesome, I never knew a company like front panel existed, very cool software to use. Pardon my ignorance, but what does the reset button, reset?

Thanks for the links, great stuff.

Update: New Front Panel Express gauge panel for my new EBC. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Shawn, very nice. How did you get the ebc to flush mount? Did you save that design by chance?

Looks really, really nice Shawn!

Though I have to say, I find it a little bit comical you need to label the boost controller and knock counter, as if one day you might forget what they are.

Johnathan - I actually cut the hole for the EBC too small and had to file it down. Made the cut-out a press fit for the EBC from behind. Worked out perfect. Here is the file but you should change the cut-out for the EBC to be a tad bigger:

Thanks. When you get old you start to forget things...

Looks great, Shawn! Just out of curiosity, what do you have your Zeitronix gauge configured to read out?

So you can get the knock counters with the reset button already attached?

Love the safety switch addition, I'd be nervous about me or a passenger accidentally bumping an unprotected toggle switch.

Plus, when you go to E85 you can flip up the safety and call out "Fox Two!" before you launch :-)

looks really nice.
But, IMO, is there a point of a boost gauge and having the ebc? doesn't the ebc show boost?

EBC does not show boost, plus I like the analog gauge. It is easy to see.
