Bilstein Firehawk vs H&R RSS clubsport
I'm looking for anyone who has an opinion/experience on this comparison please? The car will be used mainly for track duty. Thanks.

There is very minimal info about the H&R for our cars. I know they're about $2600 and read somewhere that most of them use bilstein parts in them. seem a little pricey for what they are. The Bilsteins aren't a great option in my opinion either. What are you doing with the car?

This will be 90% track. I've found some pages dealing with my question of keeping torsion bars but that was from 2004. Is this still the same opinion after 7 years? Firehawk sounds like it will be the same price so I'm wondering if there is any upgrade to going to H&R.

If you're going to spend that sort of money, look at the KW V3 or Klubsports.

In my experience, if you don't want to spend $2,500+ on your suspension, the Bilstein firehawk front struts work great with 450 lb/in in the front on a turbo and Escort cup rear shocks with 250 or 300 lb/in springs in the rear in addition to the 23.5mm torsion bar(in my case, or 25.5 if you are turbo S but then I would use the 250 lb/in "helper's"). This is for 245 wide R compound tires. If you are running something else (slicks or wider R compounds) you may have to adjust your spring rates, or if you have 400+ hp you may need a little more rear spring (max 350 for the front 450 rate).
KW V3 is a good street/track setup but is not really a true track suspension.
