Confused, says it has a 968 engine but the picture showing the engine bay clearly shows a 944 engine...

And it makes clutch jobs easier, too, with the 968 BH.

Two things I wonder are:

1) Did he really pay $600 for 42lb/hr injectors? Must have been way back when...
2) Did he port match the intake manifold to the 2.7 head?

Bidding ended at only $8305. Looks kinda like it was a track car, but damn, $8305 for a 2 owner Turbo S with gobs of goodies. If the car runs and is halfway legit, I'd call that well bought. And it looks like the winning bidder swooped in from the ether 5 seconds before the auction closed.

I was out bid while I went to the store for some drinks, but I didn't sweat it. I went and won my first vintage muscle car.
