I think you could fairly easily mount one onto the other, actually, but I don't think that's what you meant.

I was thinking how I could connect this to the drive shaft, and just skip that whole piston thing all together.

i think youd need 2 or 3 951s tied together to spool that thing

This should be HE351VE. It will spool on 2.5 better than GT3582R.

Hotside is huge but it is misleading, the turbine housing is adjustable from 4-28 cm2.

You would have to remove the Holset VGT controller and use wastegate actutators found on turbos with integrated wastegates or fabricate some sort of control circuitry for stepper motor on the VGT actuator.

It is basically a Holset HX40 with VGT turbine housing.

65/35 weight distribution will kill the handling.

I do have a Gt37VGT wich is 18kg about the same size all i had to do was fabricate the engine mount engine manifold bwahah .. ok i chickened out now I'm going for GT3576vgt and then one day I will put the big GTX35 forged wizbang snake oil ball bearing core in it ..after much research measuring and dreaming i think these Phatboy deisil VGT's would be sweet as rear mounts on cars that have a enough cubes to not realy be lag bothered .. and i think perhaps rear mount would feed them with the cooler gas they are accustomed to and engineered for ..
