Wow... these cars must take hits well. I was expecting the rear "Turbo" emblem to be somewhere in the neighborhood of the back of your wife's head if she was in the passenger seat. A 6,000lb truck doing 65 mph is a scary thought...

His bumper/frame hit just right to connect with my frame. I had a good 20 yards between me and the car in front of me. The hit launched us like a rocket even with the brakes locked up. I believe the light weight helps these cars move more than get bent. The light weight and strong construction are a good combo.

So here is the cruelest cut of all. Guess what I did before it got totaled.
I was hoping for around 350 rwhp when I got done with the upgrades. This was done on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Supposedly, Dyno Dynamics dynos normally run low.
323 rwhp, 326 rw torque at 18 psi of boost.
The owner of Dynocomp told me that my car would most likely read 346-350 on a Dynojet and is close to 400hp at the crank.![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)

Good to know you and your wife are OK. That was a hard hit. These cars hold up very well indeed. It would interesting to see if the hooks on the torque tube are engaged with the torsion bar carrier.
Hope your settlement is reasonable. This is one of my greatest fears with these cars. We put a lot of blood, sweat, tears and treasure into them trying to get/keep them in "enthusiast condition", and then they are treated like Camry's after a collision.
