It's funny -- I called KEP and asked them about the KEP I and II. He told me the KEP II for a very stiff pedal and tends to break the clutch fork. He said the KEP I holds 530 ft lbs with a bone stock disk. He seemed to be steering me away from the KEP II...

Woohoo! Great night out last night Sid. Glad you got to do it. Too bad your son doesn't really appreciate the effort it takes to run those 12.x seconds. It's ok. he's better off not wanting to spend money on these things anyway.
Great Job. Ill update the 1/4 mile timeslips soon. EDIT: I need you to post these in the 1/4 mile thread for proof.

Just as a reference, I have 70 k miles on a KEP stage 2/Clutch Net 6 puck disc, granted a tad aggressive for Mickey D's drive thru, but on the track it is great.
Stiffer pedal just seems normal to me now, till I drive a stock clutch then I think what's up with this fluffy pedal ???

How much torque are you guys seeing through a Kep 1? From my understanding the guys at SouthBend know their stuff. Hope the kit they supplied is up to it.
Sorry to hijack Sid, I'm sure some of this stuff is topical to you also.

Idk Dana, if I do I will most likely take the 83 up rather than the black car. I am pretty content with how the black car is running now, and I can't imagine it doing much better with this clutch setup.
I'll certainly try to get the other one ready.
