Aeroquip hose. It's for airplanes. FAR higher standards than the automotive world. I'll be installing mine in the next few days.

FWIW, I had what seemed to be a fairly mild fire, and it wasn't until I pulled the engine that I found half of the damage...

Yep! That's it. Great stuff! I'll never use anything else. Don't forget the little u shaped hose! That one is prone to cracking as well.

cool! That one is REALLY important. It's hard to find the cracks on it, when they start to show.

You may also want to put some insulation over those lines. As you know they are directly above the exhaust.

I replaced all 3 of mine, and the date on the jumper was in 1985!

The hoses on my plane have bands around them with the hose assy # and the born on date. This would make replacement decision easier for future owners on these cars, if the hose shop has the capability.

Made mine, did a thread on them with BAT fittings, never looked back.

When you've put out a 928 fire at a gas station in the middle of BFE, CO, you learn a new respect for these lines.

Connect the new ones in the fender, not bay.

I bought a halon fire bottle and rennbay fuel hoses when I had the 944. I fortunately never had to use the bottle but they won't corrode like the dry chem ones will if I'm not mistaken.

I keep a fire extinguisher in my 951, which almost assures me it'll never be needed....kinda like the condom in your wallet when you were 14.
