Default Brake Bleeding and clutch issue

i replaced all my brake lines and fluid yesterday. i used the motive but it was the first time i've used that thing and when i thought i was done i had no pedal so decided use the girlfriend to bleed manually. i still have some air in the system and have about 1/2 a brake pedal now, but i ran out of fluid and need to pick some up.

i also noticed my clutch is working ok but feels weird. i didn't realize that this was linked to the same reservoir. stupid that it's 1 reservoir for both!

after i get my brakes bled properly i should bleed the clutch slave correct?

will i be able to get under there and get a wrench on it without removing the starter?

is the sequence to bleed all the brakes then the clutch slave last or does it matter?

Yes it is silly that both are using the same reservoir.

Yes you will probably have to bleed the clutch as well if there is air in the line.

I have found that pressure bleeders work best. Just keep the tank filled with enough fluid to get it done.

I do the brakes first then clutch.

I have used a small wrench to do it w/o removing the starter but it was tight.

If using this method, disconnect the battery.

The Motive will get you there. Pour some fluid in it and keep the Motive sitting level so it can draw the fluid up. Pump it up to 10-12 PSI and follow the standard process of bleeding the furthest brake first to the nearest brake last. Correct order on 944s is rear right, rear left, front left, front right. Then do the clutch.

Try to raise the front of the car higher than the rear for the clutch bleeding. Keep using the Motive but ive found that having someone pump the clutch pedal while using the Motive can help things along a bit. Stock system on the clutch is a pain no matter what.

i'm guessing you mean front right then front left last
