I got the manuals from Tony the other day. Coincidentally or not, he sent them one day after I requested the money back from him through a Paypal money request. I know that because I checked the UPS tracking info for when he shipped.

what an incredible **** gobbler. doenst he do huntley's website>? that might be an angle to try. So would the postal examiner. Mail fraud is a felony. If you paid with postal money you may proceed through the postmaster.

Tony does do the sites for Huntly and SFR. He also owns Arch Web Design. He is out there somewhere, and there are people on here who know him, and talk to him. I find it hard to believe no one on the Left Coast will step up and help out.

And Tony, if you are lurking and not posting, just send the guy his stuff and be done with it. If you don't have what he bought, send the friggin money back. Not that hard of a concept.

This is just really odd. I havent seen him post on here or 968.net since in a long time, since both of his cars went up for sale really. He uses both boards and will continue to do so, so I doubt he is avoiding the list or calls. If anyone would know It would be Huntley or SFR. Huntley was finishing up his SC'ed 968 and SFR was just recently done or finishing up his 951.
Its hard to believe they havent come forth with any info *if* they even have any...
Either way I would say you will definately get your money, I just dont see Tony stiffing anyone. Good Luck.

Seriously though, this is really stupid and I hate to see it happen to anyone. Why people do this I do not know - maybe it's just me but how long does it take to reply to an e-mail or pick up the phone. I'm too busy is NO excuse! But like others have mentioned maybe there's another problem....

Hope it all works out!

Seems you are correct. Tony's last post on 968.net was the 17th. Ian posted his thread on 968.net on the 18th.

bump.... very fishy that you can't reach a web developer via email... i guess everyone doesn't have the same business ethics. in tony's defense i'm hoping theres nothing serious barring him from contacting you (medical/personal/....incarceration)

Tony,

I have read and enjoyed your 951-related posts on the E-Mail lists for years. You've always seemed to be a personable and respectful guy. Ian appears to be along the same lines.

What is going on? Why not come forward with your side of the story if it's any different from Ian's?

I'm just sad to see this happening between Rennlist folks. Especially coming from oldtimers who set the standards for Rennlist camaraderie way back when.

Honestly everyone I'm not trying to slander Tony, really I am just trying to get a responce. I do hope nothing bad had happend to him, or his family, I know life is full of random events, some are a blessing others a curse. I know that in the end a few hundered dollars should not make or break my life, but at this point it does mean a lot to me....
