Can't you file charges for something like this? You have evidence that you sent him money, and from this discussion you have his refusal to send you the product or money.

Yes, but you should speak with a lawyer individually, so that he/she can tailor his/her legal advice to the particulars of your situation and the applicable law. Do not act on any generic legal advice you receive on this board. Also, the signal-to-noise ratio and cost/benefit of this board-posting approach has become too high. Sometimes it resolves problems, sometimes it does not. In this case, both sides are far too polarized for this to have a neat and tidy resolution with one final capitulation-like posting.
Plenty of lawyers will have an initial consultation with you for free, in many cases over the phone, and will give you some pointers on your legal self-help options. My guess is a well-written letter will bring it to a close quickly. It's unfortunate that it's come to this. Good luck.

I'm just blown away that anyone in Tony's situation wouldn't send a check and wash his hands of the whole situation. He's posting on rennlist, and is aware of this thread I'm sure. Why on earth wouldn't he just end this?

I can't believe that this legitimate businessman cannot do the simple task of sending Ian's money back. The least you could have done Tony was tell Ian that you were going to be out of town; that is what a REAL businessman would have done. Tony, You're a REAL fool, and you reputation has been permanently ruined on this board. I hope YOU'RE happy.

Despite all this, i just received a 951 fuel pump from Tony as promised! FOR FREE! I offered money to someone with a 951 fuel pump, and he posted that he had one and would send it to me for free, and did. The tracking number was 1ZE15W130377977041 . Ill take pictures of the box and label if you don't believe me.
The question is, why would somebody steal your money if they didn't even take money i was offering them?
