Official MoTeC for sale Post
Honestly, if you're even thinking about pullling the trigger.. now is the time. I laid this out and made it as simple as possible on what would otherwise be insanely frustrating for many. MoTeC M48. It can run a 4-8cyl. Direct ignition four or wasted spark 8.. or whatever. outputs are dynamic. I opted for the wasted spark 4. This kit INCLUDES the wasted spark set up. No kidding. It was extremely strong when tested. scared the hell outta me to tell you the truth. Sam Shalayla was being funny. Anyway. This box has very very little hours on it. I supplied the serial codes for you to check with MoTeC Australia for its validity.
What you get. the ECU, the wiring harness made by myself. made specifically for the 951. (could still use some wire protection that I didn't want to make permanent since I was going to use it on the 968 motor and change a few things around like a whole extra set of injectors (wires that are in the vanilla envelope) The Fuses and Relays wired up all nice and neat on what was holding the DME/KLR. (fuses back side of relays in pic. cant see them) The big box of wires and connectors for extra whatever. (These are the official MoTeC wires that are extremely efficient and expensive.. ) The wasted spark setup, all wired in for the ingnitor and coil, All the wiring diagrams I used. (kinda old and beaten actually) A Speed density E-85 tune that's for a stock motor, open exhaust and a GT30R. Ref and Sync will have to be adjusted according to how ever you set up those sensors. It will work with the stock sensors, But in order to use the wasted spark, you will have to use a Cam Sensor of some sort. (about the only thing that will need to be adjusted.) You get the GM 3 bar map and air sensor. (not in picture) Any other sensor needed is already on your car. I think that's it.. Well, anyway. I decided to go pretty cheap because i'm getting excited to my damn car running. $2250 shipped to anyone in the Continental US. Here are the pics. The money and time to do this yourself is .. well. a $hitload more than the asking price.. lol. There are many inputs and outputs that aren't assigned and can be added to do whatever you want. a couple pulse width pins (e.g. a boost controller) and a few off/on (e.g. nitrous switch assigned to turn on only when between certain rpms and conditions) Stuff like that and a whole lot more.

The Chevy LS computer. It's fully programmable. Oh.. if you haven't read any of my other posts.. I'm going with a Chevy LS V8 motor. There's no datalogging or any internal wideband, or switch options like the MoTeC, but I've got those covered.

Thanks for the bump Patrick. It's going on evil bay next week. These things are never fast movers. They are quite a commitment. Hopefully the buyers see how easy I've made it for them at this point.

You know its getting kind of trying when I have to chime in on posts about stand alones and correct the major errors. I don’t want to come across as a major know it all, but sometimes the significant technical errors just have to be corrected so that the people reading the posts won’t get the wrong idea and run off a purchase something they don’t need.
It’s not a ‘vanilla’ envelope – it’s a ‘Manila’ envelope….
Other than that it looks like a pretty good deal!
