Thought I should share this. I needed to buy some new 83lb injectors so I went out to ebay and purchased a set of new Delphi injectors from a store down in Florida. I just happened to have on hand another set of Delphi injectors that a buddy had let me borrow that were 75lb.
When i received them I inspected the new larger injectors and compared them to the smaller borrowed ones and noticed a couple of interesting things.
-The top inlet on the smaller 75lb injectors had what looked like a removable inlet filter and the flange was better crafter. The 83lb injectors from ebay appeared to have a built in filter mesh that looked cheaper.
-There were no numbers printed on the body of the 83lb injectors.
-The exit flange was much cruder and appeared to be of a cheaper metal on the 83lb injectors. Also the spot welding/press fit inside the exit appear to be simpler on the larger injectors.
I contacted the ebay member and told them about my findings and said that I wanted to ship them back for a refund. He agreed to that and said that these were real Delphi injectors but part of an "economy batch" and that was why they were able to sell for cheaper.
Buyer beware!

FWIW, I bought REAL Bosch injectors via Five-O motorsports (http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/).. IIRC I got a new set of 4 injectors for $150..
Working like a charm!
Josh, sorry to hear, but it really is true, you get what you pay for!

To my understanding, at one point in the last few years, Delphi switched their manufacturing to a new facility, or maybe is having their injectors manufactured by a different party. So it "may" be just that.
Of course, injectors are not something to take a chance on. Get some from a known source!
BTW. Delphi are 85# not 83#.
