Nice 951. I really like the contrast of the white Fuchs against the grey. Although I am somewhat biased towards white Fuchs and Burg. interior(check my sig.)

FastBMW,

You have walked into the middle of a witch-hunt. Of course you are going to get your feathers ruffled. After reading thie first 70 posts of this thread would it not seem obvious that a newly registered northern VA white E36 owner whose car used to be Zorilla's would be scrutinized very closely?

Why is your email not listed?

Why do you post on DTMpower? A Dado-disciple?

I have the twin of the 951 you posted - a Graphit/Burgundy 944 turbo. I also have been a registered DTM, BimmerForums, and Roadfly/Bimmer.org poster since 1998 under "eclou."

I just hope you are not the "Ceno-Illusions" guy Bill whatever that also ripped-off all those people trying to buy euro 6spds/euro motors. VShah and Dan **** would remember that also.

Peace

Eugene

So Eurospeed, do you have an actual pic of this guys house/car??

Has anyone got any info about progress with bringing charges against him??

If somebody had stole over a thousand quid off of me I would be pretty upset - my own brand of justice would be the only way to feel satisfied.

As well as informing the proper authorities I think I would get reimbursed for my loss far quicker if I 'repossesssed' his wheels and sold them on (and whilst there I would drain his engine and diff oil just for the heck of it).

Eugene

I just appreciate German cars. As for stealing other peoples property...again check out my feedback on Ebay. You have no idea who I am or what I do so please don't use a condescending tone until you do. As you might see, you can email and discuss offline if you would like.

Yes I spend a little time on the other sites as well. As for DTM disciple...well let me just say there are all a little young for me but thanks for the complement.

As for the email feature, being new to the site I didn't know that it just showed an icon that was displayed. I will add that feature, thanks.

Eugene,

Why, you ask, isn't my email listed...because that's the default mode set by the site...it selects "no" for you. But, I'm sure you already knew that...right?

Internet-Scam Sweep Targets 19 Online Fraudsters
By Andy Sullivan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Federal and state law enforcement authorities said on Tuesday they had taken action against 19 Internet-based scams that they say bilked consumers out of millions of dollars.

Work-at home schemes, auction fraud, unwanted junk e-mail, securities fraud and other schemes were targeted by a nationwide effort that involved state attorneys general, local law enforcement authorities, and a number of federal agencies.

Several cases have been settled already, with punishments ranging from jail time to agreements by defendants to stop their schemes.

While many of the perpetrators live in the Midwest, the crimes targeted consumers nationwide through junk e-mail solicitations or fraud on eBay (Nasdaq:EBAY - News) ,Yahoo (NasdaqNM:YHOO - News) and other popular Internet auction sites, according to a spokeswoman for the Federal Trade Commission.

In one case, a Florida company named Stuffingforcash.com told consumers they could earn up to $2,000 per week stuffing envelopes at home after paying an initial $45 deposit, but then failed to send the promised envelope-stuffing materials.

The scheme likely cheated tens of thousands of customers out of more than $2 million over the past year, the FTC said in court filings.

Auction fraud accounted for half of the cases. In a typical case, the Illinois attorney general charged Chicago resident Tim Engle with advertising merchandise for sale on eBay but failing to provide the goods after payment was received.

Two Missouri residents engaged in similar activity were sentenced to 12 years in prison for theft and writing bad checks.

The operation shows that efforts to coordinate state, local and national law-enforcement agencies is beginning to bear fruit, said C. Steven Baker, director of the FTC's Midwest operations.

Prosecutors mined a vast, nationwide database of consumer complaints to track down perpetrators. A separate database of 15 million junk "spam" e-mails submitted by consumers also came in handy, Baker said.

"We're the only place in the world that wants spam," Baker said.

Consumers can forward spam to uce@ftc.gov, he said, adding that similar broad sweeps are currently underway across the country

Bill, your right. I don't know you or anyone else you are associated with, but you must admit the circumstances does seem a bit coincidental, and by no means is it "strange" to question the identity of a new user in these circumstances. Regardless of who you are I would never advocate destruction of property or any other criminal offence. As you know there have been many people ripped off by this guy.
It's been a while for me and I wrote my loses off a long time ago, but my concern and I believe my fellow reenlisters concern is to make sure this doesn't happen again.

What would be helpful is to provide the group with whatever information you know about Andrew.

I understand your concern, and I would be even more concerned knowing I purchased a large item as a BMW from such a shady character. If this group easily confused your car for Andrew’s there's no telling who else he has ripped off that might make the same mistake.

BTW. I tried to e-mail you privately but the message was rejected by the server.

Take Care

John
