You will have to switch to the secondary E85/Race Fuel map to exceed 18psi. That is what I was told anyway. I am sure Josh will chime in.
Who or where did you hear this? i hope theres no boost cut at 20 psi. i was hoping to run 23 psi on e85 for "fun runs"

On pump fuel = 15-17psi. The overboost limit is set to ~18psi.
On Race fuel / E85 = you can run more boost, but I generally set the limit to ~22psi (unless otherwise requested).

Your car will come ALIVE at 17psi...and this is what you'll say to your brothers car now

(Plus we have 93 octane fuel readily available)

I read earlier in this thread this kit/ the MAF (j-pipe I guess it is?) will fit on any turbo meant to be in a 951.. What about one that isn't meant to be in one?
I ask because unfortunately the previous owner(s) of my car decided to install what some believe and I'm pretty sure is a t-25(?) the numbers on the housing visible from the front are Garrett m24 a/r 80. I plan on changing this as soon as I can. But I would really like to get rid of my autothority chips and LRMAF2 + mafterburner before that, to hopefully rid myself of the lean condition my car is suffering

-Thanks

The pipe is 3", so any turbo with a larger inlet won't fit... don't know about the upper limits of HP, but it's gotta support over 400-450 HP with the appropriate fuel injectors. I'm sure Joshua can fill in the blanks, if not in public here, just shoot him an email.

When I say out of reason I mean over550- 600 hp.

A 4" will work, it just needs a different coupler.

I see so I might be fine to go this route prior to replacing this strange (in this car) turbo? Im fairly certain it is smaller and I think it only cuts off at 5-6 psi boost (I just never see the meter go past that) although this could be due to the Mbc that is installed but I'm not about to mess with that too much for risk of damaging something. I ask because I want to get the poor running conditions of my current setup cured but I don't have all the scratch to do this + the other repairs/upgrades that are needed an buy a new/used turbo.

You will be fine with the M-Tune all you need to size up is the rubber coupling between the MAF tree and the turbo inlet. You can buy those at auto parts store. What kind of MAF are you running now? Or do you have the stock AFM intake? You might allready have the right coupler on the vehicle allready if you are running an aftermarket MAF.

I have a LindseyR MAF2 with mafterburner. it does have a coupler connected to the turbo intake, havent measured yet, i also read you don't have to splice any wires to add on the piggy back, but as i have the mafterburner i wonder if wires are already cut? how hard would this all be to fix? and in the case of me getting this and upgrading to turbo later how much of a change to the tuning will be needed if any?
Thanks so much guys.

I don't know anything about wireing mafterburner. If you plan on switching to a larger turbo and keeping the Lindsey MAF2 in place, you will have to get your chips reburned to accept larger turbo. If you switch to M-Tune (which includes Rogue Chip) and install it now you will be fine to upgrade to larger turbo in future without getting the Rogue chip reburned. This is how I understand it anyway.

Did you ever figure out what other modifications are done to your vehicle? Do you have an aftermarket Dual Port Wastegate? 3" Exhaust or test pipe? Larger Injectors?
