Sweet job, they look great! Is that a factory shape replacement elbow off the turbo (silicone of course)? Did you do the welding yourself as they look great.

Where'd you get the pipes? I haven't been able to locate thin walled pipe that would be suitable for this anywhere.

Columbia River Mandrel sells 16g 6061 Al pipe and bends (also have 11g 6061):

I just ordered some SS exhaust stuff from them and it's good stuff. Going to be ordering some aluminum for IC pipes shortly.

Nice work. What did you use to form the bead on the ends of the pipes?

Pretty sure you can only do that with a bead roller, Tom.

Pipes look nice. Some look polished and other parts of the pipes look clear anodized. Or is that just the picture?

Edit: Or nevermind. I see in the first picture some of the pipe isn't fully polished, than it is in the later pictures.

Isn't IC piping usually thinner than 16 GA? Also, 6061 isn't formable. Not that big of a deal, you can always weld a bead on the tip instead of using a bead roller. Having said that, it would stilll work. I've used Burns Stainless before, but your guys look pretty inexpensive. Thanks for the link!

Ghetto why of making a bead: run two strips of masking tape parallel to each other with a < 1/8" gap between them. Apply a generous coating of JB Weld and remove the masking tape while the JB Weld is still wet, allow to dry, sand the high spots, add some paint, and voila you made a bead.
