Sorry about that. Point I was trying to make was to reinforce what Patrick was saying (though the "root cause" would be different). Ramp rate will affect peak. What I *think* happens is that the intercooler gets hotter, so the peak numbers for a pull that has more boost at lower RPM will be lower than the opposite scenario.

I can imagine all sorts of minor influences on different pulls, and yes, heat soak is a real concern on a dyno. Our I/c is considerably larger than stock and of course there were big fans in front, but it doesn’t replicate real air movement such as on the road/track. I wasn’t actually there at the time but it was certainly on the same night. Wheelspin was a real issue also when on a higher dyno load.

Not sure about Snakeoil but I comb my hair with a Fish.
