Post Got Tial?

In the last few months or so my car has started to leak boost out in the high rpm range like crazy! I have a Greddy Profec B boost controller already to control my boost so I know the stock cycling valve is not the problem. For example my max boost is set at 16psi and by the time redline hits I'm at 9-10psi of boost. Will a Tial 35mm be able to hold at least 15psi of boost to redline? How would my Profec B be hooked up now that I'm switching to a dual port wastegate? Currently one line is at the banjo bolt and the other is T'ed into the top of the wastegate line.

I think the 46mm Tial would be the better choice for your application. It's a little more money. My car does not hold more than 13psi at redline even though the MBC is set for 16psi.

Most people say that the 35mm tial is good for 400hp. I believe its good for 20+ something psi. The Tial 35mm for the price is unbeatable and Im sure it will handle what my plans are. (Guru-MAP, Small Garrett, Bigger Injectors..325rwhp-ish..hopefully 18psi-ish)

The Tial is my next upgrade along with electronic boost controller..(torn between avc-r and a blitz sbc-id) I love the idea of gear based boost setting on the avcr though..

Flight,
Are you sure it isen't your spring in the wastegate causing it to leak out? What bar spring did you get?

I've had my 35mm Tial for about 4mo now, with SFR bolt on adaptors(very nice). I love the wastegate. I have a MBC set at 15psi and at redline I'm still at 13psi, with a leaking 2-3 header(cracked in 3 places, winter project). BTW my wastegate came with a .95bar spring.

I have a Tial 46 mm wastegate on my 89 951 with a K27/8 and Profec B and so far it's working great. I also have a 40 mm Tial wastegate that was going to go on another project car but have recently changed my mind so it's for sale if anyone is interested.

If you're using a stock turbo, you won't make full boost in the higher rpms'... I've noticed as my stock turbo aged, it didn't feel like boosting as much in the higher rpms. Maybe signs of turbo death?

My car only has 52k on it so I'm hoping its still in like new condition. Anyways I'm just getting her ready for a future turbo upgrade down the road. Wastegate, hardpipes, and fuel injectors are still on my list before I can purchase a new turbo since everything else has been upgraded.

$300US for the Tial 40 mm wastegate with all flanges and gaskets. It has a 0.6 bar spring.

I also have a Tial Blow Off Valve for sale asking $200US.

Both parts are brand new in the box, never installed.
