I was looking to get a gauge panel, then I started thinking about what i have to have to monitor. I know the a/f ratio and boost are needed but what else is something i should keep an eye on? who sells a nice gauge panel?
I still use the stock gauges for oil, battery and temp.

EGT? If you're tracking the car a real oil temp gauge will help, but you should have no problems with oil getting too hot on the street. For 99% of the time, AFR and boost should be more than enough. Lindsey makes a good gauge panel. I would have bought one for AFR, Boost and MBC but I went a different route so I could keep the cubby in the center console.

boost and wideband o2. depends if you want the cubby or not. either 2 standard gauges or get the Zeitronix LCD display and measure upto 4 sensors and keep the cubby.
Edit: the other 2 sensors you could use with the Zeitronix is Oil temp & EGT

Well since the nut backed off on my Adjustable FPR,I'm adding a Fuel Pressure gauge. If you have a Zetronic Multi gauge you can add a FP sending unit and monitor FP with the Zetronix setup. Yeah I figured that out after U bought a standalone FP gauge!

Here is a sample from a current project – this is the Prosport gauges with the gauge panel that I make.
If anybody is interested I do have a nice stock of Prosport gauges and I can make up the gauge panels in any confirmation (it’s a CAD/Cam set up). The panel is laser cut and the optional engraving is also by laser with different fonts and font colors available.
The three pictures are key off, key on and key on with lights on. The gauges are user configurable to be white or amber in any of the different conditions (lights on or off). The white color is visible in full daylight and the amber color looks good with the 944 gauges at night.
These are all fully electric gauges – there are no oil, coolant or boost lines needed in the passenger compartment. The next line up looks very similar but has peak recall and programmable warning lights with an external connection for a warning light.
They are very nice gauges for the price point – you have to spend at least twice the cost to get a nicer gauge! Way too many options to list here – check out the prosport site http://prosportgauges.com/ for info and I will be glad to supply them since I am a Prosport dealer! Check out the new Halo and Evo series if you like something a little “flashier”!
and they do have a nice fuel pressure gauge!
