Paul,
They are in San Diego, CA. I don't have the phone number handy. I am pretty sure they don't have a web site.

Paul - look at one of their cages before you buy - I am installing one at a shop as we speak - you should really scrutinize this safety device for yourself.

Keith,
I ordered one earlier today direct from Autopower.
"Uh Oh!"
I am going to run in NASA Spec 944 class.

What are your concerns regarding the bolt-in cage? The AZ region Director uses one in his 944 n/a.

I am trying to decide between an autopower cage and a redline roll bar. Which do you all think is better?

I'm pretty certain that the Auto Power cage/bar bolts onto the floor behind the seats and onto the wheel wells. This arrangement isn't as good as bolting to the sills above the floor and to the chasis rails in the rear. This offers more protection in a rollover and stiffens the chasis more.
I know that OG Racing has a cage that does not bolt to the floor and wheel wells.

Daja vu. We talked about this on another tread, here it is.

As for construction, both look like quality products. The redline looks like a stronger design to me, look at the pictures and judge for yourself.

I agree that the redline roll bar would be better than the autopower roll bar, but would it be better than the autopower cage?

I keep seeing the term roll bar and rollcage used interchangably. I couldn't find the Redline bolt- in CAGE? I don't want a roll bar hoop.
Just another thought between the 2 roll bar hoops the Redline looks much better, but on second thought are the bolt on mounting points for the bolt in roll bar hoop just as strong with something being pushed in on the mounts as in the case of your roll bar hoop. Or were they engineered to with-stand something pulling on them such as their seat belt mounts ??
Thanks,
Paul

Your right, my bad. I didn't consider a cage because I still want to be able to drive the car around town. The full cage offers the most protection in racing but it is a real pain for daily driving. Hitting ones head on the cage without a helmet, getting in and out of the car etc. Also the cage is welded in, so it becomes a permanent fixture.
