Default question 2.7 Sleeved block

Okay, I measured the block stroke and bore diameter and it's 105mm diam x 78mm stroke that's 2.7L

Do I sell the block separate, the knife and edge crank and j&e pistons, so someone can build it from scratch or do I sell it as a whole, opinions please, check below for picts

I want it bad. I know I can't afford it, but what were you thinking for it whole?

I say keep it all together. Looked like a good engine with alot of work done to it.

But im guessing you can get more money parting it out. It might take you longer then selling it whole.

does a 2.7 require the 3.0 liter crank? Also, Lart, are they stock rods?

Yes, it has rarst rods. Gays the reason why taking it apart is because someone said there is a problem with J&E pistons and darton sleeves I don't remember who said it

As far as time and money goes. Think of a number, double it, then double it....you're getting warmer....

I spoke to my mechanic about JE pistons and he said he has been using them for years with no issues at all in turbo motors, but then again he is an engine builder, not an engine assembler. There is a big difference between a guy who buys all the parts and just assembles it trusting that the rings and everything is correct. A builder will make sure everything is correct and adjust if it isnt.

*Note- These were not my words, I know there are serveral great engine "builders" on here*
