Where could I get a new tt if need be or is there somewhere that will rebuild mine if I send it out?? Any ballpark idea on prices for a tt? Also if anyone has a trans coupler or that housing they are looking to get rid of let me know, I def know I'll need both of those. I'll start a new thread for parts needed here shortly.

The best rebuild I have seen is Constantine's 944 Torque Tube.

You can purchase the bearings and the inner seats but you have to pull and push in all the bearings.

Well, the car is completely torn down. The good news, if you really wanna call it that, I don't need a new transmission, no damage to the transmission. The bad news, my TT is done. My thoughts are the first noise I heard was the housing cracking. From there I believe the flexing of the housing over my next 20 miles is what caused my driveshaft to snap, see pic below, it snapped inside the transmission coupler.

So, it looks like I am going to need a whole new torque tube, as well as another transmission coupler, anyone have either laying around???

While I have the drivetrain torn apart I figured I will take care of the sloppiness in the shifter, which vendor sells the pieces that I can both stiffen up as well as shorten the throw?

Yeah I'm getting ready to send him a pm, he has been watching the thread so I'm sure he'll chime in soon, but I'll message him anyway. Thanks Ed.
