Thanks to the wonders of iMovie, here's a back to back comparison of my stock 2.5" exhaust with the stock cat & a Magnaflow muffler vs. my new Lindsey 3" exhaust with Sport Cat.
Enjoy!

Hopefully I will have video of my 4 inch exhaust and tubing soon...
Anyway Greg, did I just notice that you have a euro-style front plate that is valid? We have to have a front plate in this state and I noticed your front has the same characters as the back and didn't see another one wedged up in the dash or anything, but I didn't we could choose euro-style plates as an option in Colorado. I have to get plates here in the next week or two, I might look into that.

I put a Magnaflow 2-wall oval tip on the 3" exhaust and it mellowed out the sound a bit. The tip was actually a mini muffler and it just sort of took the hard edges off the exhaust note. I was happier with it after that.

hevquip: Sorry man, that plate is something I made. It is my real plate number but it's not 'legal' nor can you buy it from the state, unfortunately.
I've only been hassled about it once in 6 years or so and that was on the way to High Plains Raceway for a DE. The State Trooper pulled over 5 or 6 people that morning on the way to the track, most of them for not having a front plate at all. He just gave me a warning, I didn't even point out they were my real numbers. Pretty obvious that he was just using it as an excuse to pull me over to look for expired tags, no insurance, etc.

The consensus seems to be that the Meter Police are much more likely to ticket you than the real deal. Makes sense, it's easy pickings for the meter readers and a revenue stream but not worth the time of the guys with the guns.

Don't bother parking the car in Cherry Creek, Southmoor or downtown Denver without a front plate, that's an instant ticket.
Much to my dismay a parking enforcement officer started patrolling the street my office is on (a small side street) with regularity, which forced me to put a front plate on all my cars. After I got a few tickets for no front plate I didn't have a choice...
Up in Loveland where Greg lives (and where I used to live) I never ran a front plate and never got hassled about it.

It's a K27/6 and so back pressure is a concern at 15psi, my butt dyno says that the turbo spools faster and more easily. The car just seems happier on boost. Highly technical description I know, lol.
