just to confirm 18x8 et 52 /18x10 offset et40 fit 87 951?

Nope, ET40 will not fit (easily).
Here's my 18x8.5 ET52 and 225 rubber and 18x10 ET47 and 265 rubber on my 87
I rolled the rear fenders as I'm sure I would've had rubbing problems if I lowered ride height. The wheels lips are pretty much flush with the outside fender lip with the car sitting. There's room for larger rubber in the front. I'm going to try a 275 in the rear, but I don't know if a 285 will clear with the offset.
