The late torque peak with an immediate roll off of torque tells me that the parts are mismatched and the tune is not right for the parts. In fact the Torque peak is horribly late, that will not make for a fun street car.
Those are impressive numbers, I was really hoping to make over 315rwhp or somewhere around Lindsey's 340. What could be mismatched? Do you have any advice where to start? I would really like to get head work, a stand alone ecu, 83# injectors, and a few other odds and ends to crank the boost up and make big boy numbers. Chris I think you just volunteered yourself to tune the car

Just curious do you have a MAF? I'm shocked looks like those numbers are low especially with an upgraded turbo like you have?

Doesn't lindsey claim like 300 HP with similar mods?

I found the video on my iphone..

I have similar mods though smaller LR Turbo (53), stock inj's and AFM. Dave Lindsey said to expect 300-310 rwhp at 15#'s boost and he was right on the money. At 14.7psi I put down 299.8.

I do have a fresh cylinder head and the lower end was freshened up at 79k (I now have 145k).

There is likely more power on the table for you!

Yes, I have a Quad M Lindsey Racing MAF. Lindsey Racing claims 300rwhp with a Dual Port Wastegate, 3" Exhaust, 3.0 BAR FPR and 951 MAX Chips at 16lbs I believe (Uses stock AFM and K26/8). I have quite a few more modifications than that and produce less power.

Here is the dyno chart for the 350/350 @15psi set up. It uses a common TO4e turbo, stock internals, Tial wastegate, intercooler pipes w/Tial blow off, 72lb injectors and an Electromotive Tec3. This was done quite a while ago (9 years!!). The key was not going too big on the turbo and fine tuning the set up to work as a whole engine. Going to a big turbo without doing the rest of the support work will only kill the potential.
It hits 350tq by 3400 and holds it there to 6k (black trace).

As I said, the key is getting everything to work together and being able to tweak the engine management helps – especially the ignition timing.

I think your turbo is on the large side for a street car. I tend to run turbos a little smaller than a lot of ‘experts’ because I think that good street performance comes from the mdi rang not for max rpm. You can even see that my dyno curve starts to roll off at 6k, a bigger turbo would make a higher HP number – but not the nice flat torque curve!

Ok Chris, Ill buy a stand alone ecu as well as a spec stage 2 clutch and send her your way. The clutch is slipping very badly.

Check out Dave @ CEP for parts as well. His exhaust system is one of the best you can buy, and he also can help with ECU and head work.

Check out past comments on the spec clutch - its a love or hate thing! ( the one I tried was did not put me on the ‘love it’ side!) Feel free to call / email me if you have any questions – 315-636-8716 chris@944enhancement.com

It's not that Aussy dynos read lower, rather you have to flip the charts so those of us up here can read it.. most I have seen not flipped read upside down!

For only 15psi it is not far off by dyno's from most others with similar boost and mods.

You are making over 100hp more than stock at the crank with only 4 psi over stock boost.

Also, if this was a Mustang dyno you can be looking at 10% lower reading than a Dynojet.
