Default Anyone here use an Innovate Motorsports LC-1 wideband?

if so, do you or did you ever have issues with an Error-8 (overheated sensor/ loss of sensor communication)? Particularly on deceleration fuel cut off? What'd you do to fix it?

I've read things from install the heat sink (on order) to downgrade the firmware version from 1.1 to 1.0.

TIA

Installed one on Monday with the DB gauge (which is too dim during the day... maybe defective) no issues so far. Mounted at 12 o'clock position right behind hanger flange.

Contact Rogue when he gets back. I believe he had trouble heating up the sensor, and had to make the heatsink....

I have the sensor at the 10 o clock position in that little stretch between the downpipe, and where it curves to go along the torque tube... opposite where Lindsey Racing recommends putting it.

Sounds right, you should not see high temp or pressure at that location...I don't. Sounds like a defective unit to me. Also might be a cooked wire harness to the sensor, I did that once.

I put the heat sink on, and it works beautifully. apparently it was just a simple overheating issue.

Yeah mine overheats and I'm waiting to install a copper heatsink. Mine is in the crossover though. If it still gives the E 8 code after hard runs I'll move it.

Zeff, if that doesn't work, try the heat sink that Innovate makes. It's retarded expensive and metric **** ton of bull**** that it's not included with the kit, though TONS of their customers complain of the issue, but it solved my problem...

Thanks, my shop guy said if his own heatsink he's making won't solve the issue he'll move the sensor to the 'normal' location for free so it isn't a big issue.
