It's actually pretty easy if you just work from underneath and move the PS stuff. Either way you need a siknny assed wrench.

I have a selection of ‘specialty’ tools – one of them is a 24mm wrench cut in half and ground down to be thinner.

There are a lot of other special tools that come in handy – buy a set of ultra cheapo wrenches from Harbor freight and have fun cutting them up as needed!

With a shortened 24mm you can do it from below without removing the PS pump.

It is an oil bearing part that is demonstrably broken. Compared to the endless hours you've spend "preparing" various parts for installation, changing that sender is a non-event. If you don't promise to change it, I may sneak into your garage in the middle of the night and put a new one on... Even if you have to pull the PS pump, its 3 or 4 bolts... Man up over there...

Pretty damned hard to argue with Tom on this one...but that's not unusual.

Ya see, that's what I was lookin' for !!
I have no qualms about taking those tools, and hitting them to the grinding wheel
Actually, I kind of make it like a contest, to see if I can make it look like it came that way ... all polished up and such ...
Oohh.... maybe I should have said that ... I see a golden shower coming in my future
Thanks Chris

Thanks I have heard issues ( fitting the contacts on & the rubber protective boots etc ) with non OEM ones ??
Believe me, I would love to spend less than 90 dollars on it ...
I will ask around again... That's even cheaper than Pelican parts
best regards
Ed

Suncoast is usually the same price as the usual RL suppliers.... if you NEED an OEM unit

However, I do currently have the paragon unit on my car. Its only about 6 months old, but no problems with it. I did skip the rubber boots though.
