Default interesting 944 parts to shop for when at junkyard?

I just thought it would be cool to see what kind of rare/upgrade parts are available from the different gear other 944's came with.

eg. turbo s sways etc

but good luck finding that stuff at the local junkyard. I would say a 3 bar FPR off of a bmw is easier to find and will fit on a 944. What kind of junkyard has 944s? None of the local pullaparts have or has had any 944s that I know of. Good luck in your hunt.

Lug nuts (if you aren't using aftermarket steel), doorhandles, door sill plastic trim, little plastic screw covers...

There are normally several 924/44/51 in the yards around here.

Well that's not fair. I could only imagine that they are very picked over if they make it to the yard, and if not it takes very little time for it to become that way.

Yea the normal stuff is always gone, wheels brakes and seats but normally they are pretty slow to get picked.

My buddy and I snagged a Manual rack and a turbo trans with cooler not to long ago.

The only time I have ever seen a 944 in one of my local yards was when they had 2 and I needed a power steering pump that day. Yanked it for $30, resealed for $20, and voila newish power steering pump for $50 out of pocket.

When I had my E36 BMW I was out there several times a month, I probably bought enough E36 parts to build a second car.

Recycle Yards are a Gold Mine, $1000 worth of relays for $6. Lenses, lights ... you could even make money selling what you dont want to 'Lart'

3 944'S in the pull a part yard near me, all early though. One had a N/A quick throttle cam for $ 1.00 gave it to a friend with a N/A.
Found a set of late sports in same pull it yard last year. Got to the pay counter and the guy says if you promise not to bring these back you can have em. Now recovered in my car.
