The links can not run injectors in proper peak and hold current drive mode. I found out after I ordered mine.
Reports from users are not to bad regarding idle and part throttle though. I will probably get this device so I can run big low Z injectors in proper peak and hold mode with my Link 2

I got this email from Lenz questioning the price and availability
Hi Csaba,
The Lenz 944 turbo system without knock
control is available now. The second controller (KLR)
for knock and boost is eliminated in the Lenz 944 turbo
system because the Lenz controller handles all engine
management functions including knock and boost control, so some
wiring work is needed. The Lenz controller is connector
and pin compatible to the first (Bosch) controller.
The afm is replaced with a venturi tube, new injectors
(high resistance) are used, as well as new temperature
and pressure sensors, the controller is loaded with all
data tables and maps specific to the 944 turbo
It will probably be the beginning of august until the system with knock
control is available. The 55- and 88 pin controllers
(C2, 993, 996) should also be available around that
time. I have been doing everything possible to keep
these product developments on track. It took longer
than expected to get the Bosch IC’s for the knock
control. Herr Lenz has also tracked down the Porsche
engineer who did the knock control development
for the 944 turbo (he is now at BMW Motorsport).
I think it will be worth the wait.
The price is not yet finalized, but will be around $3,000 - $3,500 retail uninstalled.
Thanks for your interest

And what are the performance results???
That is a good bit of money over a nice upgraded turbo and MAF/MAP which will yield about 350-400hp.
Danno: The GURU equipment you mentioned is that the standard GURU Stage 1 and 2 or is that a complete GURU stand alone???
