I am at Sebring RIGHT NOW and have shredded 2-CV axle assemblies. Bought a Cardon (Autozone) as out of desperation and it blew up so bad it was almost comical (1 Warm Up Lap). One of the was others was a new GKN witn a defective boot right out of the box. That one lasted about 16 laps.
I am looking forward to a "blow up proof" Turbo S Axle. Has anybody tried the Lindseys?

What HP/torque are you making and is this on slicks?

I used to blow up CV's and bought the Lindsey axles before last season. Havent had an issue since. Much nicer not having to mess with CV's at the track.
The fact that you are having sets last 16 laps or 1 lap leads me to believe you have another issue though. Are you running stock boost and HP? Have you checked all other possible issues. What tranny mount are you running? If OEM, the rubber could be shot causing the tranny to move.
One thing I do know is that the GKN CV's have been defective out of the box as they bind. I sent back 5 or 6 of them cause of that. Some places around here have taken brand new ones and used a die grinder to open up the ball bearing surfaces so they don't bind.
