Who do you insure your car through?

Thanks, that is what I thought. So, if you were to get into an accident at 7AM on a Monday morning, they may question and have a right to refuse the claim. Not worth the risk.
What other companies do people use for agreed value policies for their primary vehicles?

my Hagerty policy (bought it Wednesday) may have been a little more because I maxed out the miles (5k) AND opted for the top tier (125 mile) roadside assistance. $403 for one year compared to $540 liability only through Safeco.

$300 a year through USAA, they have been great for me I can keep the 951 on my policy and put it in storage and the rate goes down considerably but is still covered against theft, fires, natural disaster, etc... As long as you have a legitimate appraisal of the cars value you'll be good to go in the event of a total loss. I had an appraisal written up for $19,500 to cover mine

Who did your appraisal and did you run it by USAA? I have them too and while they're great, they will probably laugh at the appraisal and go by market and book value. That's why I want to go with a declared value policy instead.

(I decided on $12k for several reasons...offers of cars for sale on this forum,. what i have invested. and that I will "self insure" to some extent)

The quote I got on their website included me putting a value of $15k on the car and declaring 15,000 miles/year. I wonder if, once I actually hit "contact me to start a policy" and actually try to start a policy, the numbers change.

Did your actual price vary from what you were quoted on the website?

88NA, 87 951 both have 250K in property and liability, and 50K in collision coverage, additional rider policys for accidental death or dismemberment, 2000 Audi TT (totaled it on Monday, feel I got a fair settlement offer from Geico), and 2003 Durango RT..
I drive each of my cars more than 15K miles a year, put about 50K on the Audi in a little over 2 years... Both P cars are listed as for buisness use...
I am Happy with Geico, they have treated us well... even though my rates havent dropped in over a year I stick with them out of convienience and usability.
