Default need a list of: symptoms Of Lag

If some of you have seen the other thread, i've lost 1000 rpm of spool. now the turbo x over pipe and exhaust is off the car. and what ever else was needed to take them off.

The car does boost, it does hold 15 psi, the intake side is A okay. the vac lines are good. The wastegate (Tial 38mm) is working properly, and the down pipe isnt collapsed. and i don't think the x over pipe is collapsed also (1 piece). turbo has very little play, turbines are both in good shape (k26/6) A/F ratios are good also.

So what else can i add to this list to find where my 1000rpm of spool went. full boost WAS at 2800 now it's at 4000 rpm.

Cheers,
Pauly

Edit:
Mod list:
2.5" straight pipe (no cat)
AFM Link
larger Front mount IC
new vac hoses all around.
TiAL 38mm to atmosphere

il check that soon. it's easy as getting everything to TDC and making sure all the lines meet? since i cant turn it on with nothing on the engine.

Throttle cable is good also. checked it also and i've got no cat

Yep, everything at TDC and make sure cam time is on.

A dead cylinder would cause slow spool too... Are you having any other engine-related issues (besides the slow spool)?

What diverter valve are you using/what condition is it in? That's the only thing I can think of that hasn't been mentioned yet, though I'd think that would show itself when you pressure tested the intake. Couldn't hurt to double check.

Have you checked your headers for leaks? If there's and exhaust leak, I bet that's where it is. Have you dynoed the car?

Forge 006, i've pulled it apart, O rings are good and put new grease in it.

dosn't sound any different. only leak i saw was on the down pipe to the turbo had a very small leak, and from the down pipe to the exhaust it had small leak probably the size of your small finger. Xover and headers had no leaks. but havnt inspected then for cracks which i should and will do tomorrow.

the car hasn't been dynoed yet. There isnt any leaks from the gaskets. but i havn't looked for cracks yet which i will do tomorrow.

Im stumped

for the turbo to be 'dead' would it have to be leaking oil and or alot of shaft play?

Any leaks on either the intake or exhaust side will hurt spool up.

Is that one of the old AFM Links?....there could be an issue with tuning that is causing the slow spool.
With the vent to atmosphere wastegate you should have a good audio clue as to when the wastegate was opening.

The usual tip is to go look at the last thing you modified or worked on.
