In this case there is a big difference - it's not in the actual displacement, it's in how they got there. 100mm bore with a 3.0 crank is a different animal than a 106mm bore with a 2.5 crank. The tuning and rpm ranges are different - and so the turbo selection would be a litte different too.

David Floyd Quote:
"Mumzer,
I have a new 106mm bore 2.8 engine, boost set at 10psi during break in stage ( manual controller )
Turbo is a non ballbearing Garrett TO4E 60 trim #8 turbine that has been Extrude Honed."
Woops did that slip into my post...LOL
Just messing with you man...I agree they can call it what they want....And we can call it what we want...Sorry man could not resist I just stumbled upon that when researching the To4e 60 trim ....You still running the same turbo what are your numbers and how do you like it?

No longer running that turbo, while it was actually pretty good, I upgrade the old MAF I had to Vitesse Racing and made it a package with there stage 4 turbo.
Depending on your tune and supporting mods, 350rwhp at 15/17 psi will be close
