Thanks, and I did spend some time on it. Other things aren't as fancy though, but functional.
Diffuser.... Yes sir.. the same one I had before.
and thank you sir, but I'm running out of tricks in my bag. which is a good thing.. I'm getting near the final stages of customizing this thing.. (Although it may not look like it)
just a roof and front bumper.. Cross bracing and some tubes in the front. Paint, then brakes, then wiring, then motor, (all the bolt in stuff.) then race. ugh.. Seems so far away now.
Would it be wrong of me to put a 500whp LS motor in it at this point?

LOL.. ok.. I will stick with the 3.0. I'm just getting impatient and the LS motor is just too easy to make power with. But rest assured.. I will take this as far as it was meant to with the 3.0

At this point I am really looking forward to your results keeping it in the Porsche family. Have you decided on a turbo yet?

I will be doing an LS.. but not in the Porsche I guess.. like I said earlier.. I have an FC RX7 for that. But both those will have to collect dust. I will try to represent the max track star the car can be, while being legal in a quick class. No outlaw class though. Sticking with the Porsche rules. I could still be in a PCA club class, I would have to disconnect the Turbo to be legal though! - Otherwise, the weight panalty PCA would impose on this engine and a turbo are a bit extreme.. Something like 3500lbs.. no kidding. I don't think I could add over 1K lbs in ballast!!!!! But non turbo 16valves are allowed to be fairly light.
I'm shooting for a NASA GTS class. Power to weight scenario. If I were to truly build the turbo to these rules. I wouldnt put anything bigger than a GT28 and over spin it to 400whp. Instant spool.. 400hp from 4K rpm to 7K.
But.. I can't help myself. I have a Forced Performance Billet wheel Dual BB GT30R, and a Twin Scroll Turbine housing. It should be good for well over 500whp. Which is too large if I want to max out the limits of the power to weight ratio. But.. I will also be turning up the boost until this turbo literally cant hold a static boost pressure any more. (Or if the intake temps get out of my comfort zone.. which is a large zone by the way.. lol) I will only run whatever that boost will be at the 1/4 mile track once or twice and on the dyno. Road course will see 450whp for "dependability" - relatively. and of course only 400whp at any race. which I don't see me doing for another year of getting to know the car first.
By the way.. the new Holsets are pretty bad ***.

^^^^^^Exactly what I won't do to the Porsche. That is a ridiculous amount of weight in front of the wheels. Every ounce on the 951 will be designed as close to the bottom center as possible.
For Drift. I understand. No big deal. For Road Course.... every pound counts in front. Which is why I must design something to Handle a front bumper bump, and hold the front end of the car up as best as possible with a little weight as possible.
Please don't see this statement as being rude as much a statement about my mindset. A lot of people see a car with a lot of cool go fast and custom stuff. I see a car with no plan or purpose. It's all over the place. Which of course is a good plan for someone that likes to Drag race first, drift second, and Road race last. BUT.. it will not get a good start in the 1/4 mile because of stiff shocks. It will drift fine, but will load the turbo at different times making drifiting more difficult to maintain consistency, and of course the same issues for road racing but exaggerated.
But, like I said, for the person that has one car for every sport, pretty cool. Compromises must be made. Still, a smaller turbo would be wise no matter what the use.. (Bottom end limited if stock)
Edit: LS1 fits nicely in there though huh!

Sounds like a good plan. I am betting that with the compression your are running and the engine size that you will have instant pressure anyway. Not sure if you have done the twin scroll before, but I really like it. I'd I don't get back on my early car anytime soon I may swap the parts over to the black car. It felt like it had a much better top end. Probably due to the size of pipes I used (2"). It still spooled very well considering the turbo I was using. I havnt looked into any newer holsets, but if they are like the older ones I'm pretty sure I'd love them.
