eBay Broadfoot 3.0 motor, thoughts?
Hi,
Just came across this motor on eBay. Looks like a fine list of parts in the build and it says it was made by Broadfoot, and they offer a warranty...

What are your thoughts on this? A fair price for a reliably built engine or is this begging for trouble?

Does he realize the claim at the botom of the listing is 11 years old now?
There are several sources of 3L builds, pricing varies from source to source, this seems to be mid level pricing...
Buy it and let us know how it turns out!

If it is possible to get a car street legal in the US with a V8. Why do you even consider this engine? I can see no benefits except a much lighter wallet and the fact that you will loose a lot of weight spending all your money on the car, and none on food.

Because some of us like to keep our Porsche engines? Speaking for myself, luckily I can get away with spending money on one of those engines, a V8, two rollers for them to go into and still be able to eat steak

Broadfoot engines are the only 3.0 liter turbo-prepped builds I see pop up for sale, seems the other vendors and builders build turbo 3.0 only if you ask for one first? I guess it weeds out the people who aren't serious or committed enough about the work and price, but I thought it would be easier by now to track down 3.0 turbo-prepped long blocks. It would be really cool to see a lot more people get encouraged to do 3.0 builds, but I guess there's only so many 3.0 liter blocks out there and so few third parties with the time and resources to build them for the people who can't.

Interestingly I can't seem to get onto their website. Something seems wrong.
Does anyone live down near them? I'm still contemplating some of their widebody parts. Damn I go around in circles about this stuff.
