Default 2ps bell housing

I bled the clutch on my new build yesterday and was able to see the clutch release with the bottom of the bell housing removed and was also able to verify I had no leaks. With the remote bleeder it took about 15 minutes total to get it done. If you are looking for a remote bleeder Tick Performance makes a good one for $45.00 if you don't want to piece one together yourself.

Can anyone tell me what throwout bearing they are using with the Quicktime Bellhousing? It seems to have a ball for a conventional fork, but no place to mount a slave cylinder. Can I bolt in a C5 Hydraulic slave inside the bellhousing?

John, I used the C5 slave. Are you sure you have the C5 QT bell housing?

Its the one that bolts directly to the 944 torque tube. I think they only make one, but I might be wrong.

my RH sump is leaking badly, bad weld in the AN nut to tube weld, on rear... also 1 of my headers didnt fit, but they sent me a new one for free, so good customer service, but perhaps not the best quality control, they in turn probably just buy this from someone else though.

for the record, people wondering about v8 swaps...

about bellhousings, does it have to be a C5-specific piece or can you use the generic SBC bellhousing (from every 3rd-gen f-body at the junkyard), if you don't mind a one-piece unit?

What type of sealant did you use on the oil pan?

Mine never leaked. But I did buy another because somone lowered my car down on the lift and dented the bottom of it. And while it's easily repairable, I needed one ASAP so I bought another from Renegade Hybrids. That's the one I installed on my LS6. And it too doesn't leak at all.

Is that a RH oil pan? I ask because both of mine don't look like that. They don't have the semi-circle cut out around the oil lines.
