Default Picture of new D9 fixed lights

Hi guys, here is a picture of the new D9 fixed lights. I'm sure they will look much better once the rest of the car is together.

Looks like they've definitely improved over their square kits. Looks great!

They are Hella projector H9 bulbs on low, and Pencil Xenon projectors for high. We wired them so both the low and highs are lit on high beam. These new H9 bulbs are really bright.

WOW, only question I have is are you trying to beat a Veyron for number of coolers on board?

The headlights look velly nice.. Yeas..

They look great George. They will throw a lot more light than the GTS versions. The installation looks nice a snug too.

What's the current status of the rest of the rebuild?

Picture of the back of the lights. We have full adjustability, and had to make some custom parts, but we now have enough clearance to for the intake to be routed into the fender.

Better shot of the intake and back of lights. We actually have over a 1/2 inch of clearance. The second picture shows the wiring, and some of the detail of the install.

The black one is the power steering cooler. Heat kills high powered 951's. There are only two oil coolers, and one trans cooler and one radiator. Doesn't the Veyron have 10 radiators?

I do want to be able to beat a Veyron from 60 to 100 though....

Yes, that would be fun wouldn't it..

On another note, what bits did you have to fabricate to wrap up this install?

Also, did you use the supplied lights for your install?

While I would prefer projectors or HIDs, this is not yet off the table for my car... as I dislike the popups, almost as much as I dislike the square GTS lights... this looks like the perfect modernization effort, but I am concerned with the adjustability of the individual lights, and the output being obscured in front of the car....
