I used my PCA discount and ordered through my local Porsche dealer. It was like $80 something.

Wow...thanks agin everyone! I figured I'd have a few darts thrown at me. I figured with the color, the CCW's AND the window tint that it would work.

And I like the vented nose panel, though mine is an original paint car(!) so i hesitate to change it out.

Looks terrific! My 86 951 had the fender script and I loved it. I will retro fit one to my 88 Turbo S after I get her painted.

What is the official Porsche part number? I need to replace my 22 year old faded decal and want the oem version.

How many factory versions (colors) were produced?

I've only ever seen two colors. Silver and black.

Default Fender Decal Part Numbers

951.559.221.00 - Insignia Black

951.559.221.01 - Insignia Silver

If you have a black turbo logo on the back, then Porsche endorsed the turbo decal on the fender to be the Insignia Black style.

If you have a white turbo logo on the back, then Porsche endorsed the turbo decal to be the Insignia Silver style.
