It's very possible. Maybe try posting in the Racing & Drivers Ed Forum.

Again the comments are the best. "Im gonna go ahead and be a douche and say that the rx-7 and this car are literally the same." and "The CRX was asking for that one. Move it or loose. Well done." lol

That's Tim Comeau. He's on the list but not very often. Nice guy, dood driver.......unless you own a CRX.

+1 for Tim Comeau. Great guy, knows absolutely everything there is to know and more about 944s. Always has random parts when I need them.

Position was not established and the CRX gave him plenty of room, no need for contact

You cant just watch it once. I kept rewinding it to see the lines of each car. That CRX did have an odd line, but the 944 took care of that.

'44 drivers fault on the contact. I don't remember NASA's rule specifically regarding who owns the corner, but he was barely up to the driver's door.

And this is how it started on youtube. lol. yeah I would like to see other laps to see where the 944 turns in. That would help a bit. I have heard of Tim somewhere. So this is NASA. Interesting.

I'd say Timmy was a bit out of control at that corner. He looked barely up to the Honda's rear wheel. He calls that "popping out for position"? Hope he apologized to the Honda driver after taking him out.

Here is the answer from the NASA CCR. In my opinion Figure 1 is the answer. However, if you believe that the 44 established position then look at Fig 2. CRX would be at fault as shown in Fig 3 if position was established and the CRX did not leave racing room, which it did.

Very interesting. My only problem with figure one is where the contact took place in the turn. Contact at #2 is before they turn in. Figure 2 looks like this more so. I can be wrong, but am really looking for a discussion than a fight.

No fight, just presenting the NASA rules. It is the overtaking cars responsibility to make a clean pass. Once the overtaking car establishes position, it is the overtaken cars responsibility to provide racing room. My take from the video is that the CRX does give the 44 racing room.

Damn, that car sounds nasty (in a good way)! Is that what a NA 2.5 sounds like in race trim?
