All of the pics I posted above are 8/9 Cup mag PD's on two'88 Canadian Rothmans cars, one 87 US Cup, and one wannbe replica cup.

I have found a tyre supplier who can help me know.
I need to decide if i should stick with factory 205/50/16 front and 225/50/16 rear or go with the suggested 225/50 front and 245/45 rear tires?
Im running 16" ET23 Turbo Teledials and i dont want to run any spacers.

I like phonedials so much I went with Turbo S calipers so that I could still use them for street driving Now if they'd only make 17/9s Common Sport classic RS with phonedials! instead of fuchs

long live phone dials. being old enough to rmember when they were new and porsche was putting them on everything, i always sorta hated them and switched mine out to 17" cups. but now as time goes by, they are my favorite wheel style and especially the way alfa romeo has kept them alive. alfa's phone dials are beautiful. too bad porsche didnt keep them going with at least a 17" size. the bigger they get, the better they look as then the holes get larger!
anyways, i found the perfect use for them though, (other than for track wheels of course)
16" late offset with 205/40 Falken RT-615's

Had them on my mk2 golf, early offset in 16 inch. Loved it.
With a low profile tyre these wheels are great. To bad the wheels on a 944 are not like this. But on an early 951 these are just the only wheels you should have.

club sports/design 90's? really? i find those just too plain. all the vw people always use those and i can't figure it out. i mean to go out of your way with the added expense of adapters for that look just doesn't make sense. i guess maybe cuz they like chrome or polishing which i have a natural vomit reflex towards. plus, they block all the brakes underneath. like lingerie, wheels should reveal some of what is underneath! (time for another joke here.)
anyways, phone dials i think will continue to gather fans & appreciate as time goes by. and for a wheel which was on every porsche in the 80's, it is almost unseen these days.
kinda like the rotary phone dial it gets its name from!
