Default Thinking of buying another 951, any suggestions?

So it's been a few years since I got rid of my last 951, and I'm getting the itch again. Anybody got a nicely sorted 951 for sale? I'm not looking for a basket case (did that the last time), this time I'm looking for something that someone has either maintained really well, or has sorted out already. I would consider a car that needs some work, but the price would have to be right. Would love to find a modded car that's making good power (say 270RWHP or higher), but doesn't need much done to it. It'll be used mainly for weekends, cruises, and probably some track days. Budget is going to be about $10K max.

Any suggestions would be welcome,
Evan

If this one's still for sale it would be very nice.

Sent him an email already, waiting to hear back on if it's still for sale, and what it would take to put AC back on the car.

+1, it's a great deal. Wouldn't be too hard to put AC back in the car. Knowing Dan, he probably still has all the parts sitting in his garage.

I'm about to post my Guards Red '87 951 with about 73K miles. I am the original owner and have been debating over the past few years if I should sell her (all she is doing is sitting in my garage - past two years, the car was in storage). Always garaged and detailed often. A few minor modifications done to it. Let me know if you are interested.

I am in no rush to sell her but wouldn't mind entertaining offers. I really want her to go to someone who will continue to take care of her and make good use of her since I do not have time right now to drive her.

I have one I've posted for sale here for $6995. The engine was rebuilt 20k miles ago. Lots of nice upgrades. Downside is a salvage tile and a fair paint job but that is reflected in the price. Search this forum under my user name Brian A.
