They don't dust as much dust, but they also don't stop the car as much.

I have posted this before but it is one of the best write ups explaining how to select a pad. Even if you are an old hat give it a quick look.

I've seen that before...has anybody here EVER seen a sintered brake pad for automotive applications? I even tried looking them up (for ANY car, not just Porsches) and couldn't find anything besides motorcycle pads.

I have not but from the praise they give, be it biased, I would love to try them. Other than cost what is the drawback?

That guys claims that there's basically no drawback (other than cost), they're "magic pads" or something.

I'm highly suspicious, but it's all irrelevant if they don't even exist in automotive applications.
