Looks like his line wasn't that great and he jumped on it too early.
Sean's car has less sophisticated suspension and less rubber than mine so I can push through corners where he can't. Add to this the coolant and..well there are the results.

Yes I was pleasantly surprised by the sound too Pauly. You can really hear it spooling 'under the curve' so to speak. Hope to get some more film of it when it's not Mum, Dad, and the kids Saturday morning.

Gaping Maw pics supplied. That sounds like the Website Sean frequents...hmm.....

Lol, actually David that's exactly what both me and the cameraman thought when the Siren first kicked in.

sounds ace is that a choke silencer insert ? whats that like ? do some back to back tests with it in and out i think you' l be surprised .
I also I have this theory that a nice long exhaust tip helps get the noise and gas out of the low pressure dome thats at the back of your car .
looks like those rear shocks are the rong way around

Patrick,

Thanks for sharing. The 3rd video looked like you had the place to yourself. Fun.

That silencer is just for the road Adam. As you can hear in the idle and drive by, it's too loud for the street without it. I should have taken some film with it in. Makes a lot of difference. You can really feel the backpressure as the exhaust tumbles down that canyon of an exhaust, only to find a little pipe that it has to squeeze through. It's actually good in another sense too as I don't like the feeling of the backpressure, I tend to drive it pretty slowly which helps keep my license in check.
We actually have a massive polished turn down that we can fit but it looks really stupid and sticks out a fair way. Still, might try it just to see what it's like.

We didn't have many entrants on this day George so there was a chance to get the track very clear. Actually I prefer mixing it up with the other cars even though it hurts my competition times, hard to keep the red mist from descending.

That's what he'll be saying to me when this is finished.

yeh turned down tips are great for sound but look stupid hey does the tip change or sound much ?
I realy believe a 3 or 3.5 in choke and long tip will knock heaps of sound out but no performance ..
but as you say you need something particularly less encouraging for the street

Close, but no cigar. Stock 951 s gearbox with S2 crown wheel and pinion so that reduces overall ratio by about 15% +/-. Adam is right about the clutch type LSD. Made in Melbourne actually but you can buy them cheaper through Guards transmissions USA as they buy them in bulk. 83lb injectors as they were meant for a 3L Stage V kit. The rotors are stock diameter for a Big Red setup. 322mm. They are floating rotors though. You can hear them when you drive.
Thing I like about the car from the outside is how much you can hear the turbo spooling.

pretty large injectors, how much boost you running through it? with that spool, id be scared if my podfilter got sucked in by the turbo
