what is hp rating of -8 areoquip fuel line?

Default what is hp rating of -8 areoquip fuel line?

Trying to figure out if i ahould go -8 forward and -6 return or -10 forward and -8 return.

Hoses aren't rated by HP. Flow volume is a function of hose I.D. area and pressure. The longer the line the larger the area or higher the FP required to prevent a drop in flow volume.

What HP level are you working with?

@ -8 / -6 your point of restriction will still be in the hard lines. Larger lines should not be required for any 944 application, no matter how exotic.

-8AN and -6AN will supply more than enough.

is -8 8/16 or 8/32 ID ??? so half or quarter ??are we talking 3 bar over manifold pressure fuel delivery ??

-8 is 8/16"

And hose size with fuel injected vehicles does not matter so much as it did/does with carburetors...

For a hose, figure about 1/16" ID for every -#. So -8 = 8/16.
Now, being tubing or hose, the measuring system is all screwed up. If you take a caliper or a pin gauge to the ID of an Aeroquip -8 SS braided hose, it will measure .44" , not the 0.5" you would expect.

As for the size. Yeah, -8 supply and -6 return will be enough for any amount of HP you will get out our engines.
