Default Race Gas

We have 3 10 gallon jugs of 110 octane race fuel in our garage that used to go in my dads stock car. He tells me my cars compression is too low to run it. Is it safe to run this in my car with stock pistons and compression? If not, no big deal. It just hurts to see that pretty blue stuff go to waste.

I've run 105 without the slightest problem...other than too my wallet.

Now, do all of these cars have fresh rings and all that? My car doesn't. Still the original 130,000+ miles. Not any blow-by or burning oil.

I've ran it with no problems, it would be a waste unless you turn your boost up though.

Like I said, I have 3 10 gallon jugs just sitting around. After that its just gonna be 93... I can't afford to run 110 all the time.

You can do that with 93, i would save the race fuel for when you feel like turning it up into the 20s. As long as your setup will support that.

I've got a Super 53 turbo, 55# injectors, and all the silicon stuff for the hard pipes. Stock rings. It should be fine....

In ref to your first post, you're static and on boost effective compression ratios are different. Remember that you are seriously compressing the mixture, under boost.

as was said, it makes no difference without more boost. It gives you the ability to run higher boost more safely. To do that, be careful. Unless you know your AFR's and have a reliable boost guage and boost adjustment system, you can run into trouble pretty easily.

I've got the innovate wideband kit, LR MBC, and Speedhut boost guage. That thing was $180. It'd better be accurate.
