Default Fixed AC, but turbo is fried

Hey Guys,

I just got the AC working today, then I saw oil dripping all over the turbo. Well crap anyone have a stock turbo for sale? I converted the AC to freeze 12 and it works awesome.

After pulling the intake off, it looks like the oil feed line o-ring failed. I will look further later today

I had the same problem. Check the intake system as well for excess oil while youre at it, just to make sure. (hard pipes, etc.)

A common problem and easy to fix. Replace the o-ring with a viton one if you can get it, they work better in the heat.

Looks like an o-ring fixed that problem. On to the next thing that needs attention

Hey Chris, Where did you get your viton o ring? I'm swapping the turbo soon and would like to ensure a leak free mount.
Thanks,

Rick

Paragon products has them. This morning, I drove it to an Autocross and tried to restart my car and the hot wire to the starter wore through and grounded to the firewall. The starter kept going even when I pulled the key out. Taped it and put the starter back on to find the bellhousing threads were stripped. I will helicoil that later this week. Good times

Chris, I looked on the site and could see the o-ring but it doesnt list it as viton, is this the one you bought?
